로버트 데이비드 퍼트넘(Robert David Putnam, 1941년 1월 9일 -)은 미국의 정치학자이자 하버드 대학교 교수이다. 시민참여와 시민사회, 사회적 자본에 관한 글로 유명하다. 그 외에도 국제 협약은 국내에 이익을 가져다 줄 경우에만 타결된다는 “2차 게임모델(two-level game)”을 발전시켰다.
