데이비드 사울리스

데이비드 제임스 사울레스(영어: David James Thouless FRS, IPA:, 1934년 9월 21일 ~ 2019년 4월 6일)는 영국의 응집물질물리학자이다. 울프 물리학상 수상자이며 또한 위상 상전이와 물질의 위상적 상의 이론적 발견을 통해 던컨 홀데인, 마이클 코스털리츠와 함께 2016년 노벨 물리학상을 수상하였다.

David James Thouless was a British condensed-matter physicist. He was awarded the 1990 Wolf Prize and a laureate of the 2016 Nobel Prize for physics along with F. Duncan M. Haldane and J. Michael Kosterlitz for theoretical discoveries of topological phase transitions and topological phases of matter.
