럼퍼드 백작 벤저민 톰슨 경(영어: Sir Benjamin Thompson, Count Rumford, FRS, 1753년 3월 26일~1814년 8월 21일)은 영국령 북아메리카에서 태어난 영국인으로 유럽 각국에서 활약한 물리학자이자, 군인, 정치인이다.

Colonel Sir Benjamin Franklin Thompson, Count Rumford, FRS, was an American-born British military officer, scientist and inventor. Born in Woburn, Massachusetts, he supported the Loyalist cause during the American War of Independence, commanding the King's American Dragoons during the conflict. After the war ended in 1783, Thompson moved to London, where he was recognised for his administrative talents and received a knighthood from George III in 1784.
